Today it is really customary to see everyone in headphones. It would seem that there are even several microphones, a smart chip inside and a speaker - in fact the same hearing aid! But, there are nuances.

The fact is that it is fundamentally not possible to make the sound louder without distortion. And for each person, their own version of the amplification algorithm is optimal. And even if you imagine such an attempt, then you need to spend at least several months for a person who already does not really hear on tests in terms of audibility.
And now you can just go to a regular store. Buy not the cheapest headphones, connect to the phone - and it works right away. True, there are nuances. Headphones are limited in volume, therefore, even for a full-fledged second degree, it will not be so good. And with hearing loss of the 3rd degree and above - they are useless. But, no one remembers about this: headphones do not exceed 90dB in volume, but CAs do this very often (although this is obviously harmful).
There is another bonus with the headphones: they can reproduce both 100Hz and below. Hearing aids - often from 200-250Hz. And they are aimed more at parsing speech than at music. And therefore, any headphones with a slight drop will seem better. Along the way and cheaper to charge them than to buy batteries for a decent SA.

Therefore, it is rather surprising not to notice that the fall is progressing while comparing different models.
Of course, you can choose a convenient format for headphones. And use them. Moreover, many try to compare that some headphones sound better in general or are easier to hear in the noise in them. In general, these are terribly strange comparisons. For example, it would be strange to get an opinion about a certain picture, photograph from a person who does not really see the shades of red. However, those same shades are still a very weak comparison compared to what really happens when hearing falls. But, people love to copy people's experience.
In general, it is worth noting that a large number of microphones in modern headphones are needed to attempt noise reduction and speech transmission during a conversation. They are not "sharpened" for the surrounding sounds. Hence the complete impossibility in general to somehow get good information from the environment. However, manufacturers will soon take into account that such a ... almost free function, which is extremely easy to implement, brings a lot of income. And in the next version they will be able to put the microphones a little better. And if you manage to somehow persuade the regulators in each country, then confirming 5 times on the phone screen that you have been warned, they will give out a volume of 98dB, which will partially cover people with a 3rd degree of hearing loss.
And while all this is happening, no one has the thought that the ear would like to be made better. No one is interested in people who, even at 60 years old, hear perfectly. And all these years, at the same request of society, a doctor anywhere in the world estimates only 40-45% of the audible range: from 250 Hz to 4000 Hz. No one even cares about the integrity of the perception of the entire audible range. If we talk about the likely cheapness, then it is worth telling people that hearing aids can be found cheaper, incl. and customizable. You can buy super branded and even the necessary wires for their firmware, setting it up personally.
One of the clearest criteria for the strangeness of the approach to solving the problem is that usually when discussing such things, they say a lot of smart words, write vivid reviews, think, reflect. Mass of reflection. And in fact, they do nothing good for hearing. Trying to reinvent the wheel twice is unlikely to be helpful. Of course, there are quite a few people with poor hearing who accidentally buy headphones and for them it will be the only chance to hear. Such people can always be found. But you should not forget that there are no less budgetary hearing aids on batteries. Rather, even more budgetary and they also really work.
